The North Wales Art Foundation invites artists worldwide to enter the inaugural North Wales International Figurative Art Prize. This premier competition awards $100,000 in total cash prizes—including a $50,000 Grand Prize—to contemporary artists exploring the human figure as a central storyteller.

The three winning works will be showcased in “Great Masters & The New Vanguard,” an exclusive, museum-quality exhibition pairing the winning contemporary pieces alongside original masterpieces. Held at the historic 1,500-acre North Wales Estate in Virginia, this landmark cultural event will culminate in an exclusive gala filmed for a special international episode of the documentary series, Beneath the Varnish.
